Macaroons

So there is the new craze about Macaroons these days! It seems to be every where! Well I just wanted to share with everyone where the original Macaroons I first saw and tasted! I was walking on the sidewalks of the Champs Elysee in Paris, France. For those of who do not know where that is here is an Google image during the day and at night time. This street or "avenue" is amazing! It leads to the Arch de Triumph (the large Arch monument) which is amazing standing underneath it!

The funny thing about the Arch de Triumph is the chaos of drivers around it. This famous Arch is the center of a major round a bout in Paris!
Okay back to the Macaroons...so there is this green shop on the Champs Elysee

 and its really elegant looking, right? Well then you walk in it looks like this! its so beautiful!

When you walk in you feel like you’re in a palace of some sort? I have my original pictures somewhere.. I will post them up when I find them! So this palace like green front store called Laduree on Champ Elysee is where I had my first Macaroons! I miss Paris! The French language is so romantic! I believe I fell in love at first site!
