San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles
This weekend was an interesting fun weekend! It snowed in Los Angeles this weekend! Crazy right? The local mountains are covered in snow & I have never seen rain coming down like this from a far!

Went to the San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles off the 5 Freeway for wine tasting, good food, and a tour. This is a family owned winery that makes most of their wine in Los Angeles. Their grapes comes from Paso Robles in San Luis Obispo County. We did the complimentary 3 wine samples from their selected list! If you go to the right guy you can get a lot more than 3 samples!

After you get a little tipsy, you can buy boxes (more you buy better deal) of yummy wine (including their house made Stella Rosa)! They will keep it on hold for you while you go get some food at their restaurant and go on the tour. The restaurant inside is Maddalena. It is maybe what you call a cafeteria style? You go look at food on display (which all look so good especially when you are tipsy) and you order what you want. Then you take the tray they give you and go down and pick your drink. Then they seat you in this beautiful atmosphere... (I think they left their valentines day decor haha)

They have live music playing and your food will come out in no time! Their menu has a variety of things! The entrées & pastas comes with bread & soup or salad. This is the Minestrone soup & their salad:

If you go for lunch on Saturday & Sunday, they serve breakfast till 2:30 PM! This is one of their omelettes they serve. The next picture is of the Spaghetti with Meatballs or Sausages, and the one after is the best one! It is the Linguine with Scampi! So good!

Now you are tispy, full, and need to walk! They have a free tour of the winery on the hour Mon-Fri 12-2PM or Sat&Sun 11AM-4PM. It is only a 15-20minute tour! Go have some fun!

10 Lessons For Young Designers - For the Creative Folks
Wieden+Kennedy’s Executive Creative Director, John C Jay's 10 Lessons for Young Designers:
1: Be authentic. The most powerful asset you have is your individuality, what makes you unique. It’s time to stop listening to others on what you should do.
2: Work harder than anyone else and you will always benefit from the effort.
3: Get off the computer and connect with real people and culture. Life is visceral.
4: Constantly improve your craft. Make things with your hands. Innovation in thinking is not enough.
5: Travel as much as you can. It is a humbling and inspiring experience to learn just how much you don’t know.
6: Being original is still king, especially in this tech-driven, group-grope world.
7: Try not to work for stupid people or you’ll soon become one of them.
8: Instinct and intuition are all-powerful. Learn to trust them.
9: The Golden Rule actually works. Do good.
10: If all else fails, No. 2 is the greatest competitive advantage of any career.

Flowers Flowers Flowers!
Before work sometimes I go to the Albertsons and the first thing I notice are the beautiful flowers! There is a section where bouquets are arranged by color. It looks really pretty! Anyway its a friends birthday... same person as who got the Sweet Lady Jane... I decided to get her beautiful flowers too! I mixed yellow and pink/orange roses and I based the bouquet with green pom pom flowers! I love this bouquet & the bright colors! The bright colors remind me of the times me and my two other girlfriends hangout. It is always filled with smiles and laughter! Thanks P & B!
